Fresh Medjool dates
Puhoi Valley Fresh Goats' Cheese at room temperature in a piping bag
Fresh thyme leaves, stripped from the stalk
Liquid honey, slightly warmed
- Slice the dates lengthways down one side and remove the stones. Be careful not the cut all the way through- you still want the dates in one piece.
- Pipe a generous amount of goats cheese into each date and refrigerate for ten minutes or until the cheese has firmed up.
- Sprinkle the thyme leaves over the cheese, drizzle with honey and a little fresh cracked pepper if you like.
- Cut the dates in half taking care not to squish the cheese out of them. Skewer with small wooden picks and serve immediately.
